Life Path Exploration

Dr. Emi Kanamaru is a teacher, a medical intuitive, a MD and a founder of Life Path Exploration. 

 

Her path to her own spirituality and life work has been quite circutous.  She has always been an intuitive, but not necessarily medically oriented. Her understanding of the body began when she started to follow her mother, who was a yoga teacher as well as a healer, in her late teens. Constant exposure to yoga and healing gradually trained her eyes to see how and what the body communicates when the face or the mind can mislead. The year 2000 was the turning point when she decided to start learning alternative therapies. Her initial plan was to work full time in business during the weekdays and work on people with alternative medicine on weekends. When a Koyasan trained clairvoyant Buddhist nun advised her to first become a western medical doctor, Dr. Emi took her advice and began her spiritual journey via the traditional medical field. She enrolled in the post baccalaureate premedical program at Columbia University in 2003 and subsequently received her M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 2010. After spending one year at the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, she returned to her original path in healing and teaching.

 

Dr. Emi can view a person remotely for different energy states of the body and apply healing over distance as well as in person. Her other background includes 15+ years in yoga, imagery, the shamanism, ThetaHealing®, Matrix Energetics®, and various other energy works..
